Welcome Sparta's own Cassidy Catanzaro, original singer-songwriter of Antigone Rising, for her BIRTHDAY SHOW—FULL BAND! As a recording artist for Atlantic Records, Cassidy Catanzaro (while fronting Antigone Rising, 1999-2008) was the first artist selected by mega-corporation Starbucks for their newly-formed Starbucks Hear Music Label—a landmark partnership deal that led to her music being featured and sold in Starbucks stores throughout the U.S. and Canada, resulting in platinum sales.

Cassidy’s songs and vocals appear on high-profile artists’ albums, including Demi Lovato, Rob Thomas, O.A.R., and several of Nick Perri’s solo projects. Cassidy has toured with musical legends including The Rolling Stones, Aerosmith, The Allmans, Rob Thomas, and has appeared in Rolling Stone Magazine, The Tonight Show, The Today Show, and several of VH1's original programming.

Cassidy Catanzaro was featured in The Gap’s campaign collaboration with Archbishop Desmond Tutu’s Wisdom Project and also appeared in a national print and television campaign for 7 Jeans. She can also be heard in films and on television, appearing in several independent films. Receiving nominations and awards in the Best Actress and Best Romantic Comedy categories by festival judges around the world.

Cassidy Catanzaro most recently completed a three-year contract singing the music of Carol King with Symphony Orchestras across North America.

To start the evening, another of Sparta's own will open the show! Geoff Doubleday, singer-songwriter, will perform his unique blend of guitar playing with his crisp vocals, which are the core of his live performances. Geoff has released a solo album titled ‘How It Starts’ and an EP with his band Doubleday titled ‘Roads Of Gold’.

Jason Kundrath, a member of Sparta's "The Good Silver" and "Hero Pattern," joins us solo in the pub tonight with rock and Americana music, everything from the 70s to the 90s! Get set for a three-hour show packed with originals and covers!

David Kraai (pronounced cry, meaning crow) is a multi-instrumentalist, singer-songwriter, and bandleader who has been traveling and performing his melting pot of country, folk, and rock for over a decade. His roots stem from New York’s Hudson Valley, but his music has taken him all over the United States, and at times abroad, gaining him an ever-growing fan base. David’s influences include Gram Parsons, Neil Young, and Bob Dylan, to name a few. These influences, along with his unique sense of melody and lyrics, help create a sound that is truly his own. Come into the taproom tonight and hear his Americana style for yourself. We're looking forward to it!

Adam Jacob is a singer-songwriter from Sparta who writes and records at his home studio. With a wide range of influences from jazz to rock, to pop, and even country, his style can best be described as Americana. His well-crafted songs feature warm guitar progressions and catchy lyrics about life. Adam performs his original music throughout NJ and northeast PA at festivals, concert series, and original music venues.

“I want to do songs everybody—rich, poor, young, old, everybody in between—can relate to,” Blake Christiana stated. “Whatever we’ve been born into and been blessed with, we all face the same struggles."

Blake Christiana is the founding member, singer, and songwriter for the Grammy-nominated band, Yarn. With 8 studio albums and a 9th on the way, Blake has accumulated over 1,000 shows, half a million miles, and performances in nearly all 50 states. In addition, he's shared the stage with such superstars as Dwight Yoakam, Charlie Daniels, Marty Stuart, Allison Krauss, Leon Russell, Jim Lauderdale, and The Lumineers. He’s performed within concert halls, listening rooms, and major festivals alike, while also initiating the band’s own annual festival, Yarnival.

Brian Smith performs soulful, acoustic, laid-back covers of 60s-90s classics. He resides in Pennsylvania and also has a 5-piece party band for special events. Brian covers artists like Sam Cooke, The Eagles, Otis Redding, Toto, Shania Twain, STP, and more. He loves to perform at new venues and always listens to good suggestions from the audience!

Blue Food is the name that Jack Armitage and Mark Hall came up with when they started a project back in the late 80s. Since then, they have continued playing their distinctive style of music, with perfectly blended harmonies and unique arrangements that fit their collective instruments, Jack on acoustic guitar, and Mark on violin, mandoline and occasional keyboards. After working with the popular Bergen County band, The Willies, for a stint, they are back to their roots, sharing their acoustic-flavored stylings to songs that range from classic rock to bluegrass, country, folk, and jazz.

Dirk Quinn is the guitarist for the jazz/funk band that coincidentally bears his name. Based out of Philadelphia, the group travels extensively throughout the US and Canada. Utilizing over a decade of steady performing, they've developed a unique and sincere style, one that appeals to a wide variety of music listeners with fans ranging from the beard-stroking jazz aficionados to the jam band hippies.

Dirk Quinn, founder of the Dirk Quinn Band, will be here for a duo set in our pub with a surprise guest! Dirk brings a unique and sincere style with infectious energy and musical interplay! We hope you can join us for this jazz-funk music night!

Ray DeLear is a singer, songwriter, composer, multi-instrumentalist, and teacher of music who has been performing in Sussex and Orange counties for over 20 years. His live performances provide a unique blend of acoustic music spanning every genre of popular songs as well as folk, traditional Irish, and originals. He has also recorded multiple albums available on all music streaming sites.

James Margolis is a NYC-based musician and songwriter from the Philadelphia area. After moving to NYC, James has played many shows at venues around the city and all over the East coast. He continues to tour regionally, playing his own songs, along with covers of blues, folk, jazz, and soul classics.

Music became a big part of Bernie’s life in 1976 when he spent nearly a year busking through France and Italy playing at outdoor cafes, the Paris metro, night clubs, and colleges. Now, his songwriting is influenced by storytellers whose songs range from serious to lighthearted. His favorites include John Prine, Jim Croce, and Lyle Lovett. Bernie is currently a proud member of Skylands Songwriters Guild in Morris County and co-hosts “The Song Writer’s Gig” podcast. So come on out and hear some good music tonight by this seasoned musician!

Come hear folk-Americana musician, Noah G. Fowler, and his friend, Hunter Peebles, a Country-Americana musician and frontliner for Hunter Peebles & The Moonlighters, for three hours of tunes!
