Krogh's Restaurant & Brew Pub celebrates 19 years of
brewing strong today, February 9th! At 5 pm, we tap our 19th
anniversary beer, an Old Ale. Old Ale is a term applied to an
English-style, dark, malty-sweet beer. Ours has oak bourbon notes
from extended aging.
This is a medium to full-bodied ale with alcohol warmth, a perfect beer to have in the wintertime!
We will also be tapping a re-release of our 18th anniversary beer, which was a Barleywine. We kept a reserve and aged it for another year in Four Roses bourbon barrels. With additional aging, the Barleywine just gets better and smoother with time. Why not give both a try for comparison sake? Quantities limited and available while supplies last.
