Never heard of New Beer's Eve? New Beer's Eve, or April 6, marks the day before prohibition ended on April 7, 1933. President Franklin D. Roosevelt signed the Cullen-Harrison Act, which allowed production of beer to resume after a 13 year dry spell! The day before is recognized because people started lining up and gathering outside breweries on April 6, 1933 in anticipation! We officially kick off this unofficial holiday with an Allagash White on tap, a traditional Belgian wheat beer! Cheers!
