Dining to Donate on Tuesday, May 20, 2008

Fundraiser for Sparta High School Project Graduation at Krogh's

Dine at Krogh’s Restaurant & Brew Pub on Tuesday, May 20, 2008 and Krogh’s will generously donate a portion (10%) of our proceeds that day to Sparta High School Project Graduation. Enjoy lunch, dinner or take-out! Reservations are recommended.

Project Graduation is a post-ceremony celebration—free of alcohol and drugs —aimed at saving lives. Since 1988, these all night events have protected Sparta students from graduation night motor vehicle accidents by providing an alternative to reckless drinking and driving. Last year more than 80% of seniors attended and enjoyed great food, great entertainment and a great time with their classmates.

Students who attended in the past raved about Project Graduation’s night-long stream of food, prizes, music and entertainment, including a hilarious hypnotist performance. For students who will soon be off to summer jobs and college, it’s a last chance to be together as a class. Besides activities, the event gives seniors ample time to talk and hang with friends, fill yearbook pages with letters and enjoy each other’s company one last time.

Special note to our customers regarding "To Go" handcrafted beer sales
Due to a worldwide shortage of hops, an important ingredient in all our craft-brewed beers, we are limited in our brewing capability for the next 9-12 months. Accordingly, we have temporarily suspended the sale of all hand-crafted beer in 5- and 15.5-gallon kegs. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have cause, and look forward to the return of sale of our hand-crafted beers in kegs at a future date.

Every Tuesday is "Wing Night" in Krogh's Brew Pub Bar

First Annual Krogh’s Restaurant and Brew Pub Turkey Trot
Thursday November 22nd - Thanksgiving Morning

Krogh’s proudly announces our sponsorship of the First Annual Krogh's Restaurant and Brew Pub Turkey Trot to benefit the Sparta Education Foundation (SEF). What better way to spend a beautiful Thanksgiving morning than with other members from the community who share a common goal...educational excellence for our children attending Sparta Public Schools. Before your guests arrive, before football starts and before the feast, come walk, run, jog, skip or trot and have fun while making a difference! A 1-mile fun run will be a part of the festivities for those at least 6 years old.

Runner’s benefits include: Pre-race pasta dinner (night before) and packet pick up, dinner sponsored by The Dining Room at The Pizza Place with door prizes, music and a live broadcast from WSUS 102.3 and Clear Channel Communications DJ, T-Shirt, breakfast day of event AND fantastic goody bags that will include among other things, a $10.00 gift card from Krogh’s Restaurant and Brew Pub.

On Wednesday, May 9, 2007, Krogh's Restaurant and Brew Pub hosted a benefit for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Sussex County, with raffles, door prizes, special guests and GREAT music...all for a great cause! Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS) of Sussex County is a non-profit agency that provides special friendships to girls and boys, ages 6-15. A Big Brother or Big Sister acts as a mentor and role model. They can show the child that no matter how difficult things get at times, there is always someone special there for them. Rooted in a strong and solid past and guided by a clear mission of making a positive difference in the lives of children, BBBS of Sussex County focuses on growth and quality programming as it looks forward to being able to expand its mentoring programs and to provide a mentor for every Sussex County child in need. With the support of committed volunteers and the local community this vision can become a reality.
